Dr. El-Frida Adwoa Serwaa Pambo
Dr. El-Frida Adwoa Serwaa Pambo is a public health professional, educator, researcher, and mentor with a passion for empowering young people to discover and achieve their God-given potential. She is a co-founder and a board member of JEWELS Africa, a Christian nonprofit organization dedicated to mentoring children and youth—particularly girls—through leadership development, education, and faith-based guidance. Dr. Pambo holds a Master of Public Health in Global Health from Emory University in the United States and has over a decade of experience in healthcare, public health, research, and community outreach. Throughout her career, she has led numerous initiatives promoting girls’ education, menstrual hygiene, preventive healthcare, and youth development in underserved communities. Beyond her professional work, she has devoted many years to mentoring children and young adults through church ministry, schools, and community programs. She believes that every young person is uniquely created with purpose and that investing in their character, faith, education, and leadership today will shape stronger communities tomorrow. Through JEWELS Africa, Dr. Pambo is committed to raising a generation of confident, compassionate, and purpose-driven leaders who will positively impact Africa and the world.
Portia Offei Asare
Portia Offei Asare is a dynamic marketing and business leader with over 14 years of experience in brand strategy, innovation, project management, and building meaningful connections between brands and communities. She has successfully led major growth initiatives within Ghana’s food and beverage industry, bringing strong expertise in strategic thinking, consumer insights, and impactful execution. As a Board Member and a co-founder of Jewels Africa, Portia brings her passion for mentorship, youth development, and empowering the next generation. She contributes her leadership experience and creative thinking to support the organization’s mission of equipping children and young people, especially girls, with the confidence, guidance, and opportunities needed to reach their full potential. Beyond her professional journey, Portia believes in the power of service, compassion, and collective action to create lasting change, helping every young person recognize the jewel within and shine.
Elizabeth Kaycen
Elizabeth Kaycen is an accomplished operations and development leader with a distinguished career spanning the financial and development sectors. She is recognized for her strategic leadership, operational excellence, and ability to build strong systems, foster meaningful partnerships, and deliver sustainable impact. Elizabeth began her professional journey in banking, where she built extensive experience in customer relationship management, operational leadership, governance, and service excellence. Her transition into the development sector reflects a passion for applying these strengths to organizations that create lasting social impact. Today, she leads organizational operations, strengthens governance frameworks, enhances institutional performance, and drives strategic initiatives that advance sustainable development. As Co-Founder and Executive Board Member of JEWELS Africa, Elizabeth plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s strategic vision, strengthening its governance, and expanding its reach and influence. She is committed to building an organization that inspires leadership, creates opportunities, and fosters collaboration to achieve meaningful and lasting change.
